Montgomery opened his own business as a dealer for metal fabricating machinery. Then in 1980, James Montgomery and Neal Peterson formed a partnership and Montgomery – Peterson, Inc. was created.

Since 1980, Montgomery – Peterson, Inc. has been a dealer for metal fabricating machinery in the New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. Today, Montgomery – Peterson, Inc. not only sells new and used machinery, but is also able to service most metal fabricating machinery as well.
